Ok, tomorrow I'm sitting my important maths test that may make me move down a level.

I'm currently sitting here with the revision sheet and I cannot do a thing !

Anyway, what were you like preparing for a test and how well did you do, I mean like a end of topic test or something.

I was a good student in school and did well on tests. I was very lucky that I was able to read information and retain it in a relatively short period of time. In tutoring others, I always suggested that they highlight or outline important facts and go over them the night before the test and then if possible the same day as the test. By writing them down and then reading over them they actually reviewed the material twice or three times if they were able to do it on test day too.

Unfortunately, I rarely ever studied for a test. This was to my detrement as I found out later in life.

As for the actual test taking, I tried to just get through the test a fast as possible! I still do that.

Hi Johnny
I really don't envy you my friend, you are extremely brave.

At school many years ago I was always having the blackboard rubber thrown at my head for daydreaming.,- it was always about what I was having for my dinner when I got home, I love my food. However now I am "a little older" as much as I hated school with a passion, am going on a regular basis to my adult education centre, they are great - I am learning LOADS - with no one screaming at me - and an enormous amount of help it is really OK.

Do yourself a kindness - be strong - go for it. I wish you the VERY BEST OF LUCK......DO IT FOR YOU.......xxxxxxxxxx
