USPS gives 3 days between the cities you listed for first class mailing.
The next issue is when your seller will be mailing the item you won. Check the auction. Some list shipping details in the description narrative, and there is a shipping time category that should be under the shipping calculator called "Domestic Handling Time". Some sellers only ship on certain days or only once a week. Some within 1 - 20 days of cleared payment.
If you purchased and paid for it today, Tuesday will be the first day the seller could mail your item. If you are talking about last Sunday, I would send a quick email to the seller asking when the item was mail so you know when to expect it.
Also, some sellers will use Paypal to purchase and print the shipping label. Paypal sends a message to the buyer that the shipping label was printed on what day.
Good Luck! Hope you get your item soon!

Silly, it depends on how far it has to go. Sunday and Monday (Columbus Day) First Class mail doesn't move at all.
I figure 1 day for 3-500 miles between major cities, 2 days for 500-1000, 3 days for 1000-1500 and 4 days for the rest of the USA

Well, the post office is closed on Sundays.
Is this from eBay? First class is estimated at 2-3 days, but it could take longer. If you paid via Paypal, the seller has 7 days to ship.

Well depending on where its coming from and where you are , normal shipping time is between 2 to 7 days but remember that it takes 1 or 2 days to process the order depending on where you ordered it from. and how you are paying for the item to.

Don't count weekends even if ordered on a weekend but on the average 4 days within the continental U.S.
So possibly Thursday but it should definitely be somewhere in the week that the Sunday is in if it is within the same country.

Depending on where it is coming from it could be as early as Tuesday (Monday is a Holiday); or as late at Friday.

There is the problem of the postal strikes in the U.K. at the moment. Best not to post until the end of this week because of the back log.
