At work, we say that we can feel strange vibrations and see ..... things just before someone's going to die .... I work in an old people's home and strangely we always think that when there's one death, two more will follow shortly.

The noises are just noises. Every home has them but in the quiet of the night they are more noticed. Your fear of the unknown....of what life without your GM...is amplifying the noises. So sorry for your suffering. My mother is fighting lung cancer and I fear her suffering almost as much as her death. I hope she wins this battle, but I know the reality of statistics.
Death knocking at the door.... I know the feeling with other loved ones who have died from cancer. It is a painful road you are walking. And one that morphine will not help.
May I suggest some reading which may help you through this pain? A book called, On Death and Dying, written by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, is required reading for people struggling with letting go, and understanding the stages of grief.

I`ve been there on a couple of occasions. In Korea, a piece of shrapnel cut my jacket.instead of killing me. There was a time when a group of us were pulling cable, and a pully broke the sidewalk where I was standing. Now I`m in the same boat as your grandmother, with cancer. I wonder if my luck will hold? I`m sorry about your feeling bad, try to think about her long life.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope you are ok. I lost someone to cancer. It was the hardest thing I ever went through. Life is fatal. That's just the way it is. Keep her memory alive. As time passes it won't hurt any less, but the pain will come less often. ♥

No. However, a human with only half of the awareness that they used to have is usually a target of wicked spirits. I don't mean to sound like some shaman, but I'm not sure how else to put it. You are kind of right, but it isn't a skeleton dude in a black cloak with a sickle, it's something else, but there is no need to be afraid. Remain silent to them.

It could simply derive from distortions of the sounds caused by your perception. Your perception right now must be influenced by the fact that you grandmother is going to die.
Take care.
