Nearly 1 in 5 Democrats Say World Will Be Better Off if U.S. Loses War

Get the PDF of the poll. This is one of the questions: Do you personally think the world would be better off if the United States loses the war in Iraq?

A full 39% of Democrats either say YES or DON'T KNOW

So WHEN can we call you traitors? Not yet? Do we have to wait until it's 45% maybe 60%?

Truly a party in moral decline.

Nostradamus, I wonder, can you answer the question? Is it yes or no?

Steve, I lumped them together for brevity. If you look at the PDF it is 19% yes and 20% don't know.

IMO, don't know is just as troubling as a yes.

I see all the anti war/hate america freaks are dogpiling on this one.

I'm not Republican, I belong to theConstitution Party. Yes, Dems that JUST DON'T GET IT that we HAVE to win this war afe backing the cause of the terrorists. That means they are committing treason while our troops are in the field.

They also can't stand the FACT that this all started when Iranian thugs took over our embassy in 1979, and that spineless coward Jimmy Carter did NOTHING about it !

Since then, Islamonazi's have learned that Democrats will not have the guts to do what is needed !

FoxNews huh? What a wonderful source to cite! Considering this is obviously a religious poll. Why do you fail to state that a full 62% said "no" it isn't a good thing if we lose. At least more democrats prayed for the war to end unlike the war-mongering republicans.

Boy it's just like you republicans. Always looking at the glass half empty.

the war in iraq has nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks OR american security (general petreus confirmed this when directly asked) or the broader war on terror.

your 'tough guy' war is pure baloney - and almost all americans KNOW it.

you can keep trying to put lipstick on this pig, but it won't change reality - your propaganda isn't sticking as well these days - fox news is more and more transparant about being an arm of the republican party.

i am beginning to think that the only way to stop you radicals and your insane war is to cut off funding - keep up the radical agenda and this won't be the poison pill you think for the next election.

if my reps are listening out there - cut off the funds.

I WANT SOME PAYBACK FOR 9/11 AND WON'T GET IT IN IRAQ - GET OUT NOW!!!

And we are supposed to take a poll run by Fox News seriously?

Come off it!

Let's look at an excerpt from the 'report', okay?
'Republicans (74 percent) are twice as likely as Democrats (37 percent) to have included the president in their prayers, while just over half (52 percent) of independents have prayed for Bush.'

So, we can assume that God is not listening to Republicans?

Because, looking at it any way you like, Bush is a lying and bungling idiot.
And God does not condone dishonesty, no matter how many people pray 24/7.

And I find it very interesting that you, obviously a Republican, dare to accuse others of 'moral decline'. What a joke!

The Democratic Party is in moral decline? I'll take war opposition over the sex scandals the Republicans continually have what...it is on a weekly basis now, isnt it?

Doesn't matter what a fox poll says. Bush is still unfit to be president. Dress him up however you like but a pig in a tutu is still a pig.

I love it when posters bash the source instead of taking the information and doing their own research. Especially when most the time they provide NO source at all.

You never learn from only reading/watching things you agree with, only from the ones you don't.

"'Yes' or 'Don't Know'"

Isn't it interesting that you lumped these two categories of answers together, since they are fundamentally dissimilar.

Do I detect an agenda at work?

(By the way, how does the U.S. lose (or win) someone else's civil war? The question's framing is fundamentally biased and flawed)
