sorry I hit a nerve, but these are all burning Questions. remember this, your messing with peoples lifes , money and maybe the pride they could get from doing it themselfs!
by the way , how long does it take you to get down off your cross at nite when you go to bed???

Anyone who goes to a public website to get information takes a chance. Thats why there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the pages. I Moderate in a few DIY sites and have found the same thing. If I see an answer that is unsafe or totally wrong, I try to mention it in my answers. In sites where I moderate, I can have the posts removed. People who want to DIY should go to DIY Forum sites for the best info. I give the best answers I can but, have no control over those who post incorrectly.

Ouch..... sounds like you need a long hot bath and a massage to work out some of the tension and hostility. Sorry you were taken by a contractor.... happens to the best of us.
