I am thinking of adopting a little girl or boy from Africa. At first i only thought of adoption as either annie or the fad that has been following brangelina (I know it sounds terrible), but i read a heart-breaking news article and i am determined to adopt.
What do you think of these names...
boy=
william rhys
charlie parker
julian gregory
girls=
ava sage
harper grace
alice rose
I also love Megaera Renee and i would call her meggie, but it is definitly one of those names that your child will hate or the future employers will hate
Please NO COMBINATIONS, just OPINIONS
thank you

I love William, Charlie, and Julian! I also the like the middle names you put with them. Julian Gregory is my favorite!
I love Ava, Grace, and Alice Rose for a girl. Alice Rose is my favorite.
I think Julian Gregory and Alice Rose would be fantastic as siblings! I love them! Great Choice!

William Rhys - I really like this, its nice and simple and Will is an adorable nickname.
Charlie Parker - both names are great, im just not sure that they go well together.
Julian Gregory - I love Julian, but Gregory is a little out-dated to me.
Out of these i would use Julian Rhys.
Ava Sage - Ava is very popular but very pretty. Sage/Saige is not really my style but its okay. I would prefer Ava Paige.
Harper Grace - Not to keen on Harper although it works nicely with Grace.
Alice Rose - Simple yet beautiful. Its very classy.
Megaera Renee - I would spell this Megara (MEG-AHH-RA)
I like it but would prefer Megan. Renee is a lovely middle name and Meggie is such a cute middle name!
Out of these i would use Ava Grace or Ava Rose.
Good luck with your adoption =D

First of all i think that it is fantastic that you are adopting a child which needs a good home and i think that the kids deserves a fantastic name one you bring it home.
I like the names Charlie and William, but i love the nam Julian for a boy, i think it sounds so masculine,LOVE IT.
Out of your girls names i dont really like the names alice and rose i think they are to common now a days. But i personally have never heard of the name sage and have rarely heard the name ava but i love it, it sounds so beautiful and femine.
Megaera Renee sounds very intersting an di think you are right that the kid or employer may hate the name, i personally know lots of friends which hate there name because it was hyphanated and everyone ends up just calling them one of there two names. When i am older i wnat to call my child Renee as i love it soooo much,LOVE IT.

I would have to say Julian Gregory for a boy or Ava Sage for a girl. Why don't you though, instead choose a first name that you like and then put his/her original first name as the middle name. This way you are still keeping part of who they are instead of erasing his/her past identity with a name that you think is nice. Adoption is a very noble thing to do, but think of the child.

William Rhys CON: people will always try to shorten his first name to Bill or Billy.... Just think about it...
Charlie Parker CON: people will wonder if is legal name is Charles, they will try to call him Chuck? My husband's name is Charles and he goes by Charlie, but hates Chuck! People do it all the time!
Julian Gregor PRO: safe as an adult and sophisticated, but might take some jabs as a "Julie" when he is young!
Good Luck! I have four sons! We used Family and Grandparents names for middle names.
Ava Sage PRO: No short cuts! Pretty, elegant and Short!
Harper Grace CON: Harper???? Think of the teasing.....
Alice Rose CON Alice is kind of an old name, but if it is a family name you may be able to get away with it. I like your first name Ava Sage the best!
Good Luck and God Bless!

If you're adopting a child, they may already have a name, so don't get too excited over picking one.
I like all of your boys' names. Of the girls' names, I only like Ava Sage and Alice Rose.

Charlie Parker! Great jazz musician. That gets my vote.
I like Alice Rose for a girl -- has a very Victorian ring to it.
