I have to debate this... I, of course, pulled Pro standardized testing but i cant find any research that backs it up.

Part of the problem is that the few articles that are for standardized testing just assume everyone believes they are valid; instead of saying WHY/HOW they are valid.

Yuck. As the mother of a nonverbal person with autism, I agree with you that it's not a good measure. But in debate, you can always find "facts" to back your case, on either side. They might laugh you down if you start to cite internet sources though, so I would go to the library instead, and ask the reference librarian to get you started. I hope the debate is not tomorrow.

I don't know of any myself but sometime knowing how to look is the key. Put the words :standardized testing analysis" in your search engine and you should be given a list of some sites which will give you the information you need - I did and came up with too many to list here.
