Try to stay ahead of trends and offer the latest products and services... but don't speculate and make a big investment in something until you are sure they will buy it. It's a balancing act.

Market/advertise your business. Have competent staff who stays on top of their duties all of the time and watch them carefully without them knowing you are watching. Also, make sure the finances are accurate (Great bookeeping/accounting) is extremely important! If you are owed by customers etc. make sure you don't let too much time pass without collecting. Otherwise, you will never see the money! Build personable relationships with your customers etc. by making them feel like you care more about the people rather than the money. Good luck and I hope this helps!

You didn't list what your business was, so I'm flying blind here....advertising...know your 'market'. Do some research on who your target market is. Have some 'coupons' for discounts (i.e., 2 drinks for 1). Word of mouth. Have Ladies Night
