I saw it fall off the roof of a large Mercedes as it drove off. he must have forgotten it was up there. I opened it and found what must be over $50,000 in $50 & $100 notes. There was also a mobile phone...and a gun... My guess is it's drug money. I'm scared someone saw me pick it up. How do I give it back to the owner without getting myself involved (or worse) ?

There is a "Home" number in the phone, but if he is a gangster, maybe he wont be happy about me knowing who he is and what he has got. I don't want to hand it to the cops in case he finds out it was me.

Phone the number, explain that you found the money and that you have spoken to the cops and cannot live with yourself anymore.
Shoot the gun, fall on the floor and remain silent until he hangs up.
Move out of the neighbourhood immediately, get a facelift, and enjoy your money.

You have several options. Go to the police, they will be able to track the owner of the phone if nothing else. Keep it and spend it. Take it back to where you found it drop it off an leave. or.. Call the number in the phone and arrange for pick up.

I would turn it into the police immediately. I could not live with myself by profitting off of someone else's misfortune. All I would do if I kept it is wonder if I am spending someone else's hard earned life savings that they had the misfortune of losing. No way could I do that without first atleast trying to find out if there was an owner. Besides, that $hit comes back to haunt you through karma eventually!!! No way am I going to risk that!

try giving the cops the money and let them handle it...the guy will be in jail anyway. I don't think he can get you because if the guy had a gun then that would be trouble. try avoiding the station for a while and ask the police not to let the guy know. You'll still be in trouble if you had the gun so its best to give it to the cops

you should keep it to yourself for awhile just incase anything happens, if nothing happens then you can take it to the police or keep it
