To answer this with as much unbiased opinion as possible I will put this as delicately as possible.
It must have been pulled because of a troll. I still have access to the entire question and all of the answers. Find out where they might have access to information about you and remove it.
I would like to answer with a quote.
"Much Ado about Nothing".
I've read the answers to both questions and quite frankly some of the references to cut and paste were somewhat of the pious kind.! I frequently use cut 'n paste as a means of saying It's not just my answer or my opinion or my knowledge but is the consensus of many, and this is my way of saying, maybe my answers have merit.
If you have never used the suggestion forum top right hand corner I would put your suggestions to the forum and have a lot more responses and less chance of the " Busy body PATROL"
and receiving the abuse factor.
Home/Forum/Blog/Help Answers
I highly recommend using the suggestion forum.....You will find just how many people that are members of the community post there and all have the same name....anonymous! lol!

I wasn't aware that Master Gardeners weren't answering questions but referring them--I always endeavor to answer--and reference the material I use. However, I never say that I'm representing the Ag Center where I volunteer.

Perhaps some Master Gardeners refer the questioner to a local Ag Center because they don't know the location of the questioner and don't feel they could adequately answer the question--but, I have found a lot of the questions are general enough that most hobbyist gardeners could answer them just from personal experience. Some questions are more in depth and may not be within the ability of the questioner to research, so I don't mind trying to find the best answer possible given the facts at hand.

So, to answer with a nonanswer like "go to your county ag center" isn't necessarily helpful. Then again, they might not actually be Master Gardeners and they're just answering vaguely to get points--once again, not helpful.

My wife is a Master Gardener. She is aware that in some cases the answer will vary depending on the location. Climate, soil conditions and other local variables can make a big difference in the answer. Also sometimes the answer is way to complicated to try to cover here.

With this in mind, there are times when a referral to the local Master Gardeners is the right answer.

I've been a gardener all of my life and never been referred to the local County Agent. I have no idea of why you are referred to them, but thanks for the 2 points anyway. Good luck on getting your answer.
