Why stop there, heck, we could cure many social ills by torturing people for information! Maybe, gosh, we could start torturing politcal operatives that shame our military, too! Maybe we should torture convicted pediophiles, well, you know, just for fun...

Torture is a result of a totalitarian system, that does not value human rights nor the Geneva Convention. The USA is not a totalitarian system and torture is against everything our country stands for.

We already do. You of course being an elite know nothing of the world.

In our jails and prisons the guards do not do the torturing they only facilitate it. General population and/or cell assignment can go a very long way toward the convincing of a prisoner to make a deal.

The war mongering ,immoral Bush decided to wage an illegal war of choice all based upon a pack of filthy/stinking LIES that has resulted in the slaughter of over 400,000 innocent Iraqi civilians including the mother of that Iraqi mother who was caught on video scrapping up the blown apart remains of her daughter with a shovel.

Americans and the world must now demand one of two things :

1. Bush be rendered to a country known to torture prisoners and videotape Bush's torturing as he confesses to all the friggin filthy/stinking lies he has spewed from his carciogenic mouth that has resulted in crimes against humanity.

2.If # 1 is not acceptable, the Bush family including Laura and the children, must be forced to torture the vile lying Bush which will ensure that they have first hand experience of the horrors that their Daddy and son and uncle visited upon so many others .

I am sure these good little monumentally hypocritical CHRISTIANS will understand all of this when I say that I am only reminding all about our Savior's teachings on this subject which was/is "If you live by the sword, you will die by the sword."

Why not drug kin pins are useless to our society and if they die while being tortured so what. But the reason they do not is because they will expose the people with special interest, that may be trusted figures of our society.

American citizens have rights under the Constitution which prohibit law enforcement or prosecutors from torturing them. Fascists like you will have to fore go your dreams of establishing a one party state without a rule of law, because that piece of paper(the constitution) prohibits it. I know it is tempting to want to torture pedophiles, but isn't the death penalty enough. Certainly those who would lie about our military and commit acts of treason deserve death by hanging but come on torture, just so you can feel good about your latent fascism, I don't think so

That is the same idea that the only way to fire all fires is to start a back fire.

So when a house catches on fire you burn down the neighborhood.

I understand it tortuing doesn't fit in your senisablity and your moral views.

Than there is it the reality of the kind of people we are dealing with in this world.

If denying someone sleep, playing rock music, and having a woman in the room gets information that saves lives.
You bet.

Now are you going to go to Iran and protest women being stone to death because they got rape?

If not than why are you complaining about us?

On TV shows, the police detectives interrogating prisoners would threaten to torture them by means of some "accident".

Ask yourself, "Do you really know anything?" Any CIA interrogation expert will tell you TORTURE doesn't provide you with accurate information. As the person who is tortured will say anything to avoid being tortured. They have several methods which rely on fatigue and clever wording to incite accidental answers.

Maybe we should simply cut the crap and start reading the Constitution. If we had stayed out of Iraq we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place.
