i want to know if the game boy games or advance games fit on the gameboy ds system?

Yes. It has a slot for DS games and a slot for gameboy games.
I'm not sure if the DS means dual screen or dual slot (for games)

they don't necissarily fit into the hand held console but, they do work with the proper USB link cable which you can find on e-bay for about 6 USD not including shipping.

yes i have one and they dont fit in the ds slot but they do fit in the slot on the bottom of the ds so YES YES AND YES.
