I'm not sure I can answer that question. But, if you don't want them, you should not be shy about saying so. One of the main problems any society has is neglected and abused babies. If we'd simply allow people to say "I don't want children" without gasping, we might abate some of that.

I never thought I wanted a child until my son came along. We are reproducing for population that is aging or dying, preparing for the next generation. A woman becomes in her prime to have children, as their bodies grow they develop rounder hips to carry child in the womb. The biological clock is ticking as well. Time for a child then.

because its what we are here to do, reproduce and carry on the circle of life. children are a blessing. some people see them as tying you down, but i believe they give you a purpose and are an inspiration to try and be the best you can be.
