...I don't think I can trust anyone anymore especially the Police and other Government trustees... It seems they're all corrupt.

...I don't feel safe anymore though am born and raised in Manila but the last time I've been there all I have is fear in any kind of transpo such as jeepney, bus, taxis or even on your own vehicle and even when just walking alone or with friends... sorry but seems there's just too many snatchers, holduppers, etc... I've heard so many scary stories and I've had some of experiences.

... I don't mean to hurt or offend anyone but this is how I feel. But I still love going back in Philippines as that is my home. DO YOU STILL FEEL SAFE?

I am not a Filipino and I visit the Philippines at least two to three times a year. Manila is where I stay and spend most of my time and I use it as a hub to go from one place to another. Just like yourself, I was told about stories or holdups, theft and snatching etc...I was warned by people not to walk the streets alone or at night. I am a risk taker and a firm believer that if bad things or harm will come your way then it will happen no matter where you are. It could be in the middle of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. I have never experienced any of the stories I was told, and I am no denying them of course. I did walk the streets alone and at night and safety never even crossed my mind.
The people in the Philippines are good people and that is including a snatcher, robber, holdupper and thief. The irony and reality to this although they are breaking the law, part of why they do it is to survive and to feed the family and am sure that few do it to feed maybe a drug habit, but am sure the majority do it for survival without the intention to harm anyone.
Poverty, lack of work and lack of social welfare what drives them to do this, do I blame them?
In the other hand, I live in a very well developed country, the " Good old USA" and do I feel safe here. Yes I do feel safe but ask me how many robberies my 2 businesses had the this year alone? How many shoplifters? One hold up with a gun? When was the last time you turned on the TV and you got to watch the GOOD NEWS CHANNAL? What about all the freeway shooting and random killing? Do you dare walking the streets of Los Angeles at night neverless being in downtown Los Angeles at night? What about all the sex offenders, the child molesters, the kidnappers the gangs, all this is that you see on TV day in and day out of your daily dose of terror and horror stories? These people are the real criminals with intention to physically harm and kill other innocent people. These are the people living in a free country and they have everything provided to them from health, social services, anything you can imagine they do have and these are the things that some Filipinos can only dream of.
Me being a foreigner, I can't comment on any official, government agency or any corruption that you have mentioned. I will just stay out of this one otherwise I will be black listed. So I take the 5th on this one...lol
At least in the City of Manila, I hope that the new Mayor Mr. Lim can make the difference to clean up the city just like he did with Bay Walk which suprisngly I am impressed with how it looks like now even with that new Starbucks, how can you go wrong?

Can't wait to go back and enjoy the city and the people. I always think about the positive side of the Philippines this way I have a peace-of-mind always and something bad would happen then let it be...

EDIT:
You much safer here in Wisconsin oh my God tell me this happen everyday in the Philippines

It's really not surprising that you feel that way. Manila is filled with criminals; true, but it's just the way of life there. Too many people are living on the streets, and not much that I can see is being done for it. It's a really sad dangerous place anywhere in Manila even inside a building, but it's unevitable. Evan Christman and New Year is very sad in that place, and same with the other cities in Philippines; when you turn on the news at that time, you can see children with blown off fingers and other things that are sad because of the firecrackers like the 5-star, sinturon ni Judas, and a lot more. Even I think that place is unsafe although i came from there just 3 years ago, and I feel a lot more secure here in U.S.

Just never visit Philippines during Christmas and New Year because some bullets tend to lose their way, and go into random buildings.

I was born in the Philippines, raised in another country and now i'm back living in the Philippines.

Yes, our beloved country may have it's share of snatchers, holduppers and corrupt officials but then other countries also do so.

I'd be lying if i said that i felt safe because there are times (and certain places of course) that i get friggin scared :)

But i believe that there is also a whole lot of good and honest people in our country, and that's what i'd rather focus on.

I know how you feel. When I'm in Manila, I'll stay in Mibini area and make sure I'm with people around me. Manila is a great city but throughout the years, it's city is turning to a wasteland. It's the governments job to get stuff in order. If the social economic structure wasn't so bad, we would not be talking about this. Have the government create more jobs and end the poverty situation. I stayed at a 5 star hotel and around the corner was family sleeping on the floor begging for money. The fact that our own people are living below the poverty level is a crime against humanity.

The main problem of almost every trader is the thoughts that trading is game or it's easy money. Before profitable trading you should learn a lot about this field. So, even don't try to trade with real money. You can learn how to make real money from this course ( http://forexsignal.kyma.info ) Second, you should choose the right broker. There are some brokers that plays against their own clients. So, your main goal - find good broker. Third, yo can generate more profits with automated trading software. As you maybe know, there is a lot of different scammers on trading market so it will be hard to find really profitable trading system. That strategy brings me a lot of money every month, all thanks to the course that I posted above. Hope you will follow my recommendations, bye!

Well i can't blame you for that, but for us citizens of the Philippines this kind of crap is normal. Manila basically is the center of the country, this is were businesses and the government is, aside from that holduppers, snatchers are also prominent in the area, i think this is due to the harsh way of living in the Philippines. that is why this people doing all sorts of crime came up doing this crappy things just for them to survive. Let's face it living a life in the Philippines especially when your poor is very difficult.

Hey, we can not deny that some politicians and policemen here in the Philippines are corrupt, actually 99% of them are. In addition, many of our prisons are congested, and even sometimes accomodate double of the numbers it should accomodate. Well at least that proves that our government is doing all of its best (or are they?) to cleanse our beloved country from defiled people like them (still I am not saying that they can not possibly change). Moreover, the poverty rate in our country is now soaring high even though the government is saying that the economy of the Philippines is at good state but the problem is that the people can not feel this because nowadays our basis is not on stock market ratings or those other highsounding words, our basis today if we went to the wetmarket with 1000 pesos and we only went home with a plastic bag that means we are still poor but if we went home with a "bayong" which is filled with veggies and meat well that means that our government is excellent.

I was also born in the Philippines and I spent most of my life there until I migrated to the United States. I was there last Christmas and I feel generally safe. However, with what has been going on there lately, like crime, corruption, dirty politics, etc, people may not feel safe anymore.

But each country has its own share of nightmares. Even here in the US, there are places where safety is a concern.

I am a Canadian born man, and I still feel safe. However, I stay away from crowds. When I go visit, the Phils, I stay in the rural areas outside big cities or towns. The airports are where you have to be especially careful, also, markets.

Penny stocks are loosely categorized companies with share prices of below $5 and with market caps of under $200 million. They are sometimes referred to as "the slot machines of the equity market" because of the money involved. There may be a good place for penny stocks in the portfolio of an experienced, advanced investor, however, if you follow this guide you will learn the most efficient strategies https://tr.im/fb19f
