well in my book they already looked bad weeks ago.... they made the Nationals and Marlins look like the Redsox and Angels. they couldnt beat a minor league team if they had to. in the last couple weeks of the regular seasaon.. they became the worst team in the league... no question.

Its frustrating as a Mets fan to see them go through last season pretty much regarded as the best team in a weak National League and the lose the LCS and then this year faill to even make the playoffs. What will they do next year? Finish last behind the Marlins and Nats? Don't laugh, what is their starting rotation going to look like? The Mets had better win a lot of 10-8 games.

It happens. It has happened to better teams then them. It hurts them. They too are hurt & frustrated. After all, they didn't do it on purpose. We had it here in Philly in 64. Sure, we as fans were pissed royally but, how do you think they felt? Seems a lot of us fans seem to forget their feelings. The Mets have a good team. So do our Phillies. The Rockies are on fire and burning everyone in their path. I have no axe to grind with anybody. The Phillies did something none of us thought possible by winning their division. Am I sad they lost? Sure I am. But imagine how they feel as ballplayers & human beings.

Good luck to the rockies. Congratulations Colorado fans. You team is kicking tail.

all i can say is just as terrible. the mets lost to crappy teams in the regular season, and the phils lost to one of the best teams in baseball IN THE PLAYOFFS. there's no way the mets could have beat the rockies either. the phils made it further than the mets, didnt they?
