If so, where can I buy it?

Is it easy to use?

Is it efficient?

Can it leak in one's purse?

Since nobody has guns, knives or any other weapons in UK, I guess it would be effective.

I wouldn't try it in the U.S., since here, even without weapons, our criminals can be violent and might not like it. Many violent crimes in the U.S. are committed using bare hands, must be nice to live in a place with no violent criminals (which makes me wonder why you would need anything for self-defense, I would think a water pistol would be just as effective).

No, spraying acid on a person is not legal unless you are in a life and death situation. Even then, however, the deck is stacked against you because the court can use it as evidence that you were out looking for a fight. Furthermore, spraying acid on someone can give horribly disfiguring scars on people which can be used against you to sway a jury. Pepper spray, however, is effective AND does not do any permanent damage. Seriously, forget the acid spray and stick with pepper spray or enough sense to avoid situations that may require you to use either.
