I've been doing offers on this website called SwatCash where you can earn money and get some pretty nice things like an XBox 360 Elite and Nintendo Wii's. My friend just got a 360 from the website so I'm all pissed at him these days lol.
Go to http://www.swatcash.com/24792
Try it out. You might get that 360 if you invest 30 minutes a day into the site =P Good luck =D

Actually, you WANT money, not NEED money for the xbox. 14 is a good time to learn the difference between need and want - there will always be things you want but can't afford.
Work permits depend on where you live, but getting a work permit doesn't get you a job, and many employers don't hire someone under 16. Your best bet might be things like lawn mowing, leaf raking, babysitting, things like that.
Good luck

Get a paper route, pet sit, baby sit, mow lawns or rake leaves, help retired folks or neighbors clean their homes, etc. There are plenty of ways for young kids to make money without becoming "employed."

Surveys seem to be popular these days.
Look at http://www.YoungRoad.com
That site has the best paying ones, as long as you're at least 13.
