That is an easy question to answer. Without any doubt the most dangerous creature on Earth to both humans and animals is the mosquito.
Over the millenia, mosquitos, and the wide range of diseases they carry, have killed more human beings than anything else. Even the Great Plague, the Black Death of the 14th Century, which killed between one third and two thirds of the world's human population, has not killed as many as the little mosquito.
One of the problems is that the mosquito bites both humans and animals, thus assisting blood-borne diseases to cross the species boundaries. Many diseases carried by mosquitos are nearly incurable, or do terrible damage, thus adding to the mosquito's well deserved evil reputation.

I deal with animals on a regular basis. Of them, I am most concerned by the Akita breed of dogs. Even Rotweilers don't phase me quite as much although I like them less. Grizzly bears are uncommon around here but I would be more concerned if I were in Cody. Now that I think of it, if I were going solo into the hills, I think I would take an Akita pup. But, if we include pack animals on the list then I'll go along with feral dogs as the most nerve wracking.

OK, the question is about an ANIMAL...well they finally found something they call the chupacabra kind of looks like a cross between a dog and a rat, and these things seem to be able to bleed out thier victims and only remove portions of thier skin...nasty creatures...I believe if we still cant solve mysteries like Coral Castle we still do not know everything about the planet or the inhabitants to try to assume anything. Watch yourselves out there :)-Rachel

Statistically, I think the mosquito is #1, but living here in AZ, the rattlesnake creeps me out the most.
Ask any baseball team and they will agree with me coz the Diamondbacks are going to go all the way this year. hehehe

It's quite a tough question as there are so many animals way more scarier and dangerous then we are without weapons.I think I would have to go with a Tiger as not only is it fast, has big paws with very sharp claws they also have extremely sharp teeth.

The scariest\most dangerous animal for me is feral\wild dogs.
They're the only large predator that doesn't fear humans. And they aren't all that afraid of guns. A pack of wolves won't attack an adult human, a pack of dogs will.

Scariest - Scorpions ... They have fangs and pincers AND a stinging tail ... that's just not fair.
Most dangerous - Sea Otters ... with guns.

The most dangerous is the mosquito.
The animal I would fear coming across in the wild: a wolverine or chimpanzee.
