Most colleges will accept either the SAT or ACT. Look at the websites for the specific colleges you're looking at or go to gacollege411.org to find out. gacollege411.org used to tell what the average score was for the last class of entering freshmen. I know both schools I applied to said SAT and/or ACT. If I remember right, the ACT was a little cheaper than the SAT.

Go to www.collegboard.com. You should be able to find your answer there. Although I believe most colleges require that you have taken the SAT, some don't put as much emphasis on it anymore when deciding on an applicant. Also, consider taking the ACT with writing. Many schools are looking at that score as a guideline. The SAT is a reasoning test and the ACT is more of a "final exam for High School".

Good luck in your college search!

Sorry, but ALL colleges require the SAT or junior colleges require the COMPASS test. Maybe in Europe they don't, I don't know.
