It's called an autobiography because it is a biography written by the subject or composed conjointly with a collaborative writer .
What I do is first , I would write an introduction like (mine)
"Life for me is an adventure that we dare . There are times when we are happy , there are times that we are sad , There are times we succeeded , sometimes we fail , and sometimes we love and sometimes we are left ". Second , I would write details about me like " My name is John Christopher Depp II . My friends call me Johnny . I was born on June 9 , 1963 in Owensboro , Kentucky , USA ..... " . Lastly , I would write a things I realized about my life and things I learned in my life .

Hope it helps !

It's an auto-biography because it's being written by you and not someone else. First person is fine, I find it's also easier to read because it's like you're having a conversation with the author. You might want to start by just listing some important points in your life and deciding how to put them in your biography. I've seen two kinds of biographies mainly, ones that are strictly chronological, or the author picks some turning point in their life and goes backward to tell how they got there. Good luck!

i might start up a substantial turning factor or climax interior the lifestyles of the optimum character--do no longer supply too plenty away, introduce some substantial information, characters, and from there, try actual skipping returned to the beginning up in a reflective way. wade by using your tale, and as quickly as you attain that climax returned, tell it intimately; that would desire to help to set the tone for something of your tale....then purely wrap it up from there. to illustrate, George Washington became the 1st president of united states of america... good success!

"I started out as a child..." I believe an autobiography should be written in the first person.
