I live in the town that Bruce Springsteen is from Freehold, NJ
EDIT: I forgot Jon Bon Jovi, my dad is from his highschool in NJ; Sayreville.
& Dreaming I know who the Carpenters are....a brother/sister singing group and Karen died from anorexia. ;)

Well some people may not know these few people, but Little Richard and Sasha Mitchell (from Kickboxer) is from my area. Also, not so famous, but former Vice Pres. Dan Quayle's niece lives around here. When he was Vice Pres, he flew into our tiny little airport for a visit for that reason.
Then I'm not far from Nashville, TN...lots of country singers live there: Garth Brooks, Amy Grant, George Jones, etc

We have quite a few actually.
Grandma Moses lived 6 miles from me, her grandson still produces work like hers and lives there on the farm.
The author John Katz who writes about dogs lives in Hebron just 15 minutes from me.
The actor from Dynasty also lives about 6 miles from me... I cant remember his name, but he's here in Cambridge.
The artist Normrn Rockwell lived in arlington, just 10 minutes from me.
Green acres, the TV show was to have taken place in Saratoga Springs, it wasnt filmed here, but thats where is supposed to have happened. Thats 20 miles from me, where I go for groceries.
Theres a TON more. This is a very popular area, I just cant think of any more off the top of my head. lol.

I don't know if he's from this area but, I know he lives in this area now.... Hank Williams Jr. I've seen him a few times in different businesses, rumor has it he's not the easiest person to get along with.

Hilary Clinton's family has a lake home not far from here. Governor Scranton who ran for the presidency a while back is from around here. That's about it.
