people all the time say that being gay is a sin well...?

here is a question for all the so called perfect christians out there I am not gay im bi which means that I like both women and men and yes I am wonderfully saved by the blood of the Lord so tell me if its a sin and I am saved according to John 3:16 for God so LOVED the world that he gave his only begoten son that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him SHOULD NOT PERISH but have ever lasting life???? I just want a straight answers please ty

There is nothing in the original texts of the Bible that says that being homosexual is a sin.

The verses that are commonly used to claim that it is, are deliberate mistranslations, to suit the sociopolitical agenda of the translators.

Your God has no problem with homosexuality, or homosexual people. Why would he? He created us all, the way he wanted us*.

If you believe in God and want to obey his command's, then you'll have to accept that any sex outside of marriage is a sin for it says in the Bible that only the marriage bed is undefiled. Jesus himself said that even lusting in your heart is a sin and never refuted the sexual laws of the Old Testament. God created man and woman to be as one, to bear children in the sanctity of marriage and to multiply...that was His intention and desire. Mankind could not populate the world if he had created two men or two women to start with. ALL other forms of sexual immorality are sinful...not just being gay or lesbian but the Bible does state that God considers homosexuality an abomination which is a bit harsher than plain old sins like greed or envy or hatred. The point is, we should try to please God and do what He desires if we really love Him....He knows what's best for His creation and we are His children.

I am Christian and there is no sin in being bisexual. It fascinates me how some people who responded assumed that because you are bisexual, you go around sleeping with every person on planet earth. You haven't even said you have had sex with anyone, that you think sex before marriage is okay or that you would like to have multiple partners. Good grief! Some of these people really annoy me.

It also fascinates me how many people choose to be ignorant about that one verse in Leviticus. It refers to male-on-male rape, not sex between two married men, who love each other. In addition, those who argue it is part of the moral code should take note that eating shrimp and mixing different types of cloth is part of that same moral code. That moral code classification is slightly deficient. They really need to relook at it. It annoys me when people are like Barbie reading the Bible rather than intelligent human beings, who understand what Jesus Christ is really about, studying the Bible in depth, even if they don't like what they find out.

and i can tell you really dont read the bible do you....because the way your saying it anyone can KILL RAPE & STEAL and its all good if you belive in christ... NO thats not how it works the bible also says your NOT supposed to have sex until marriage... and not the MAN ON MAN marriage because that didnt happen back then you should be reading the bible my friend and read up on the 10 commandments

unmarried sex is a sin
having sex for pure pleasure is a sin

but sins can beforgiven....

I don't think of it as a sin, but I do think of it as not normal. There are alot of things that are not normal, but I do not think any less of you for not being normal. Being bi I have always said is being greedy, pick one. BTW I am happy you are saved God bless You

There are many references in the BIBLE that says homosexuality and bi- sexuality is wrong. I've showed you, now U show in the BIBLE where it says it's good to be a homosexual or bi-sexual. I'VE SHOWN YOU NOW WHAT?

That one verse in Leviticus says NOTHING about rape of man by man! It MEANS conscensual sex between man/man and woman/woman! It is unnatural for man/man or women/ women reguardless of marital status, because it's unnatural for man/man or woman/woman to be married. Sex was ulitmately designed for procreation. I don't understand how a true Christian can condone such abominations. You need to rethink your salvation!
