hi, i keep finding these bugs at home and starting to worry if they may be dangerous.
It looks like a small grey sail without a shell, or maybe like a house centipede, without body legs, it only has legs in front and back, maybe 2-3 pairs total. about 0.5 inch long. I cannot find any picture online that would resemble it.

That sounds kind of like what's commonly called a "Silver Fish". I've never heard of them being dangerous but, whenever I see one, I always think about a scary story my older brother used to tell me about some bug called an ear-wig.

Yeah it could be an inchworm, since you described it as like a house centipede...But if you are finding them more in the sink or bathroom it probably is a silverfish.
You'd find those around and they are quite common. They eat anything that contains starch or dextrin in adhesives
-glues, photos, book bindings,paper, and hair. Neither of them are harmless.

They can be many different colors.
