Is there a way that i can get my entire itunes library onto my new computer without having to download everything again?

I'm moving from like a 99-2000 gateway desktop to a new macbook.

Thanks

Burn a cd or simply buy a pen drive.

If the computer you are transferring from has a burner, burn the files onto a CD-R disc, don't burn them into music like you normally do, To do this locate the files that you want to transefer, click on Edit, then select all, then holding down the shift key, right click on one of the files and then go to Send To then to an icon that burns CDs. then when the file for burning comes up, make sure you have a disc in the burner and make sure all the files you want saved is displayed, then click burn and your files will be transferred as they are. If you burn then like CDs. to play on your CD player, your file size will be reduced to 1KB

Burn the entire music directory to DVDs and then recreate the same structure on the other computer.

Install iTunes, and iTunes will find the iTunes database file locating in My Music\iTunes and automatically find all your music.

easiest way i can think of doing this is depending on how many files you have... get a cd-r or dvd+r and copy your mp3 to it as a data disk and then copy & paste from disk to your new computer. you can always download the itunes program on the new computer
