Engaged? and you don't know if he loves you?
I think you don't love him only because you might have an issue with trusting him? Why would he give you a ring if he did not love you? Does he hit you? There are some factors that play into that and you did not give enough information to answer the question.

If you are western, I certainly hope that he loved you before he engaged you. However in other cultures, I understand how one can have a family planned wedding without even knowing your betrothed before the actual wedding day. In those cases, you will get to know your husband, and if he is a good man, to love him after the wedding. If your family made the marriage for you, trust their good judgement.
If, however you are a western young lady who got engaged to a man whom she does not even know if he loves her, I am very sorry to say, this is not a good sign for your future. You should certainly know it for a fact, and he should have demonstrated to you that you are the most loved and important person in his life before you accepted the proposal to wed.

Honey, if he gave you the ring, and you accepted, then he loves you.
If you have doubts weather he loves you or not, I am suggesting you get them resolved before you get married.
You can't be married doubting your spouse's motives every minute and every second of the day, that will tell him you do not trust him.
And if you do not have trust, then you do not have a marriage.

Sorry to be so blunt, but...
"If in doubt, toss him out."
I remember talking to my best friend the night before his wedding. He was unsure. Really unsure. I was not mature or experienced enough, back then, to give him advice, or to tell him what questions to ask himself. He got married, it was a disaster.
Now we all have SOME doubts for sure, but if they are serious, then pay attention !!!
