Yeah they'll still be in the top 10. Oklahoma lost to Colorado last week and were ranked 10th this week.

I know the media and sports analysts will do all they can to prop up USC in the polls but lose to a 40 1/2 point underdog on your home field. Especially coming on the heels of lack luster play this past several weeks. USC does not derserve to be in the Top 10 and in my opinion they have no shot at the national title.

It's really simple. USC needs the following to happen:
1. Win out.
2. Hope that the teams in front of them stumble.
They'll be in the top 10, but they will have a bit of a climb if they want to get into the 2 spot for the title game.

USC lost to a team who came into the game with a 1-3 record, and they lost at home, USC should fall to 12 or 13 after this loss.

Yes they will be. California was idle so they remain 3 or possibly move into 2. Ohio State won and would move to 3 at minimum, maybe to 2 ahead of Cal. Wisconsin lost as did 8 Kentucky and 9 Fla. The other top 10's won. South Carolina and west virginia will move into the top ten leaving space for USC.

None of those solutions even is clever. The polls are purely that, polls. they're based on the comments of the persons responding. If one group loses and convinces me they do no longer seem to be as stable as I initially concept, i visit place them lowere in my balloting next time. in the event that they lose yet i think of it became into in uncomplicated terms a undesirable interest, i will no longer drop them as plenty. incredibly everyone seems to be seeking some secret perspective or formulation for a manner the polls advance each week. there is none! they're based on the comments of the activities writers and coaches who participate interior the polls each week. each participant would have differing comments on why they vote a definite way yet, for a set to stay particularly extreme interior the polls, many citizens had to experience as though they nevertheless belonged there. One or 2 votes would not save them pretty ranked. there is not any conspiracy, no bias, no cheating and no flaws interior the polls. they simply are polls and the voters needless to say have self belief USC remains a precise ten group regardless of their modern loss. i'm no longer a USC fan yet even i can tell they're stable. i think of Florida in uncomplicated terms dropped to variety 9 after their first loss, Michigan lost to a 1AA group.
