I just started a new job a week ago being a maid at a motel. When I was hired the 2 bosses put me off all week refusing to tell me what my pay would be. When they finally payed me yesterday it was only 68.00 I work 7 days a week. I work between 4-6 hours a day & I clean between 5-11 rooms daily by my self. They have no other employees. I have been a maid for a long time & they told me that I was the best maid they have ever had. I was kinda a little shocked at the low pay. Is this normal for a motel to pay that little? I have always worked in personal homes & never a motel. Thanks !

No, it's not fair pay. If I WERE you, I would tell my bosses to raise the pay because since I'm only and one best maid that did an awesome job for their motel. Good works always paid! Oh yeah, one more thing...Good luck :]

Call wage and hour and turn them in. They are paying below the minimum wage, and are breaking the law. Tell them to adjust the pay and you are turning them for paying under the legal limit.
