You know how most of the time it is dad's that take there son't hunting/ fishing. Do you think it is strange that a mom takes her kids hunting and fishing.
Personally I don't see a problem with it but sometimes people will look at me crazy lol...(exspecially men lol)

I also enjoy taking my kids frog gigging.. I just want them to experience alittle bit of everything. And you have to admit eating chicken and pork get old lol
I have 3 kids 2 girls and a boy and none of them are scared to get there hands dirty they help me even clean the meat..

I have no problem whatsoever with that! I think it's great! Rock on, Mom!! I am envious of you as I have no talents in hunting or fishing. My father tried to teach me to fish, but I got queasy just trying to put the worm on the hook. And you have to actually touch the fish to take the hook outa his mouth. lol

I have no problem with it.
I remember reading an article in an outdoor magazine that said that women can see things better in the woods and they are generally more patient than men so they wait for the best shot instead of emptying the clip hoping for a hit.
I don't hunt or fish anymore, but I take my son and daughter fishing when they want to go.

Know the feeling - I have to collar a kid of my own and force them to go yabbying with me just so I don't look weird hanging round a creek on my own with a collander and string and NO kid to speak of!
Would never happen to a male!

I don't think it's strange at all. I love to go fishing with my sons and while I don't hunt I do take them shooting at the shooting range. I know lots of women who hunt and it isn't unusual to see them take their kids with them.

I was out of school for a week when I was in junior high. My mother took me fishing at a nearby creek from where we lived. I never thought it odd at all. We had fun.

I dont see anything wrong with it. Do your thing, girl! People always have to have something to talk about. Let them do what they do best...hate on others!
