Who do you make christening cards out to, the baby or the parents?

I always make them out to the baby, and all of them that we received for our daughters were made out to them. I put them in their baby books and they love to look at them now.

most cards are designed as your baby is christened or on your son's christening etc so i say parents first like to john and mary on katies christening day summin like dat

My son's had a naming ceremony and everyone made the cards out to them.

the child, one of my friends had one card for the baby and one for us a parents cause she wasnt sure, but traditionally you buyt a card and a keepsake for the child.
