I am sure he wants to play till the 2011 world cup.
Do you think that Sachin will make it?
Sachin has scored more than 900 runs in one day cricket this year. He has been in good form.
He almost made 5 international centuries in the recent UK tour. He has shown on various occasions this year that he can still play big shots.
His two knocks in Ireland against South Africa were as good as any of his centuries.
His strike rate has also been good in odi's.
At this age he is still India's biggest trump card & the most valuable player.
I wish the little master all the very best because India loves him & when ever Sachin scores runs it feels damn good in the heart. WE LOVE U SACHIN!!!!!!!!

Hey Rocky, bro even young Uthappa got out for a duck.
Sachin gives us a good start in 1 out of 3 games. I think that is fine with me.
I am not praising the him. The Cricket God needs no praise form me. The numbers tell the story & he has been performing for us in last few series. He is doing fine at the moment.
I am talking about 'NOW'. Of course he will be dropped if he fails in future but right now he is still the man

Sachin should play and will play World Cup 2011.
Just a couple of bad innings does not mean he is finished. He is still the best batsman for India.
Just that India won T20 world cup, it does not mean that Sachin is no more good for India.
He will be back with a bang in the next couple of games. Just wait and see.....
We love you SACHIN !!!!

All Sachin followers would say this is sensible & he ought to play & carry the worldwide cup....et al. yet however the dream won't be unrealistic by skill of itself, yet it incredibly is significant that Sachin keeps to be very greater healthful and is in a position to handle each and every of the hot gamers from the different communities. Granted he's the superior cricketer the worldwide has ever seen, yet each and every person has their glory days and could finally ought to make room for the aspiring gamers. one can't in basic terms bypass on continuously. besides, what assure is there that India will win '11 worldwide Cup? None. So if Sachin's in basic terms purpose is to win of a bathroom, then he would ought to retire disenchanted. He can't then say he will play 2015 as nicely.......it incredibly is ridiculous. additionally, cricket being a team interest, Sachin & India have been given to realize that each and every person has to play jointly to win the WC, and not in basic terms matter on the grasp gamers. this is too lots of a weight in the the shoulders of gamers like Sachin to hold the WC living house.

No. PLEASE NO. He is nothing close to being called consistent. Just because he played well in England, he has the right to fail in this series? He got DUCKS in the match 1 and 2 and in the 3rd, he threw his wicket at a crucial juncture.
On the other hand, we see players like Hayden who score a MINIMUM of 50 every damn game. And that too, continuously for a year or more. Fantastic.
I remember when Hayden was thrown out of the team despite being a proven performer with nothing to prove. But when he was thrown out, he decided that he had to do something and that failure is not an option. This is something that Sachin FAILS TO UNDERSTAND. He feels that just because he scored well in the England series, he can jolly-well fail in this series. He thinks that if he fails in 2 games and gets 47 in the 3rd game, HE HAS PROVED his critics WRONG. What crap. I hate Sachin's attitude
I think he should be "RESTED" and then lets see whether he can do what Hayden is doing for Australia

I think we all know that this is the time he should call it a day and let the younger blood come to the fore but we all know it will not happen as it is the trend in sub-continent that heroes are not willing to retire as heroes... I think you got my point. Who knows he plays even 2015 WC.
Dear in a question last week in which you asked "what was the common thing in last five world cup" You have selected the best answer a wrong answer I think your own knowledge is not upto date please rectify it. In 1992 the finalist were Pakistan and England and Pakistan became eventual champion by defeating England by 22 runs. Then how can you say Australians were finalist in last 5 world cups and won 3/5. I hope you will not mind it as your wrong answer can misguide someone.

He is now only a 60% Tendulkar.
Is it right for him to continue at a reduced performance level for so long.He is now taking the role of Dravid in the ODI team.
A Tiger should roar not mew.
Many young aspirants are waiting in the wing for recognition. It is not enough if they are given a chance or two and dropped. Some players click at the first opportunity. But some players need at least five or six matches to establish themselves. Our Vengsarkar himself could establish himself only after a dozen chances. There is no use giving talented youngsters 2 chances and drop them.
In the ODI scheme of things we cannot have all the three seniors who tend to slow things. Right now,Dravid will be more useful in ODIs.
Tendulkar can continue in Tests. If necessary we can get him back for the world cup.

he will not last that long. noone doubts what he has done but four years is a long time. india did well in the twenty20 because of the youngester and the quality of the fielding. knowing the indian cricket board, they will go for youngster rather than the older generation of tendukar, ganguly and dravid

Not likely.
Many people are jealous of his achievements and try to degrade him with out solid statistics He never asked anybody to praise him as god or to ditch him as useless. Compare his present output with the output of other competitors for the team and then decide.!!!
