...and how did you deal with it? This weekend we drove out into the country, and parked our car on the grass verge, and a high-falutin` little Hitler - literally on his high-horse, came out and told us if we didn`t move our car off`HIS grass` he would fetch his tractor and move it for us!
Of course, I wanted to pull him off his horse, but he turned and galloped away.

Dont you hate it when people dont allow you trespass on their property and ruin their grass with your car. God, you should be able to do whatever you want shouldn't you? Do you sense the sarcasm??

I would have moved my car off HIS grass. Out in the country trespassing by city folk isn't a good idea.

Country folks live in the country to get AWAY from city people. Then this guy rides along on his horse and some cities are parked on his property? You expect him not to get mad? Maybe you are the arrogant one, ever consider that?

Had you "pulled" him off his horse I am sure you would have never returned to see your precious city again. That would have been very ignorant on your part, at the least you would have gotten a country @ss whoopin

I am also sure that he didnt turn and "gallop" away until you were off his land

People treat me like that every day, & I have to seek counseling for it. I just asked a question on a forum, & someone called me Bipolar & say I need to be locked up. Since when has asking a question become a crime?

Hey Ho, Aristocracy and their ilk strike again! Yes, I've had the same sort of thing and it's infuriating but the trouble is, how ever much you argue and reason with these people, they believe they are right and that's it - you are just some commoner who knows nothing!!

I've yet to meet anyone who can match me for arrogance. They don't stand a chance.

from time to time you encounter such sympathetic persons, enjoy such bread to exist as a negative example of how one should not treat ones neighbours, and leave them, if possible, alone with their grieve.

It's cool; it's their problem, not yours. Don't let it be something personal or even get emotional about it.

If it was his land, you would have to move your car anyway.
