I have always had rough periods myself, anything heavy is really rough on you, try light foods on your period,salads are good, fruits and light veges raw, and if you retain water less of that.Believe it or not less stress.

during ur period u can eat anything though it depends on the person like i cant eat chocolates b/cuz i get really bad cramps but not everyone feels the same.

Junk food and anything with too much sugar - but that's good advice anytime!

Your body may crave comfort food, and if so you could try milky cocoa (unsweetened) or mashed potato with butter, or toast with honey.

I personally suffer from stomach cramps, so I stick to plain and light foods, but honestly, you can eat anything.

eat plenty of salads and fruit avoid salty sugary foods and fattening one too that will put the weight on ypu while on your period not good.

i find eating food high in iron helpful , like chocolate
