Hell no. Ranjit Fernando & his gangsters think they can get away with it eh.
First is First - S.L selectors made a wrong decision for not allowing Marvin Samson Atapattu to play for ICC World Cup 2007.
2.S.L selectors should drop off Upul Tharanga
& replace him with Marvan Atapattu bc, I know Marvin can hit better than Upul Tharanga
.
3.Captain Jayawardene: should speak out & be a real S.L captain VS S.L selectors after all, thats what a captain suppose to do: speak out like a real leader for your team & your country.
4.Marvin Atappatu is mad period & only Captain Jayawardene or some S.L selectors can talk for Marvan reappearance for some live action VS English batsman.
5.If Marvan Atappatu does not play VS England series match-ups then his career is over.
6Upul Tharanga - needs to be dropp off.
7Upul Tharanga- that Lakan lion been going down the drain lately.
8Upul Tharanga- Is getting me angry
9Upul Tharanga- many more S.L excellent batsman can take his spot bc, Upul Tharanga is not doing anything as an opening batsman anymore.
10Upul Tharanga - Plz don't f it up for Sri Lanka cricket machaa.

Correct, they should not drop him from the team, a fantastic experienced player like Marvan Attapatu is necessary to have in the team, he still has the talents & power to play good cricket for another 2-3 years, he is a good test opener who could be sticked untill the last wicket. His records are also good, the team will know the worth of a player like him when they go to Australia for their next tour.
As you told Mahela should request Marvan to play for his team in the up coming series.

Marvan should be selected to the Test squad...
SL needs well experience players for Aussy tour...
He have plenty of experience and he is a better batsman in Test...
So selector should consider about him...
Mahela must insist the selectors to select Marvan to the test squad...

Too big to hande i may say.They must have attapatu in their TESt team.... who can take his place in Test matches?
in sri lanka he is the best opening partner with Sanath jayasuriya . Both made world records together.
THE mere presence of Marvan would create doubts of
openning bowler of test matches, opposite side.
what a temperament he has got?He is a once in a life time player with 6 test double centuries

We are not the selector, therefore we can not judge what is right or bad for the side. Selectors are not novice, they are experienced,matured, patriots and all. We, as well as players, should have faith on them.

Sinch shabby treatment has been given to Attapattu, I strongly feel that he will not play for Srin Lanka again even if he is offered a place in the team

the selectors dropped Marvan, true, he is an experienced player, true, he is a gud batsmen, true, but i think they dropped him to give more attention and chances to young players and because he did not play very well in his recent matches. well dats my opinion.............................
