VVS Laxman has had a successful record against Australia. He has scored centuries in both one days and tests while playing with Australia in Australia -- which is a very tough task to accomplish. Also the last time India defeated Australia in a one day -- it was due to Laxman's performance. How come then he has been excluded completely and no attention is being paid to him? I find that very pitiful and unfair.

Selectors doesn't see the players old record...
they always select the players by their current performance...
VVS didn't perform well recent times so he is out of the team...
even he come there is nothing going to change...

If VVS Laxman comes to Indian team, it is ok. Well and good. But its not the thing that we should depend on a single person to win with strong teams filled with 100% professionals. Forget about VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar (the senior), Ganguly, etc. There must be a coordination between the team and the team should be completely filled with young blood who can make wonders. Its not that a senior saves the team once in a while... Can anyone say that everytime or atleast a 50% of the games that were saved by the seniors? Tell me confidentally...

Though Laxman is a class and great batsman, he is a slow starter and his style of play is not ideally suited for ODI. However, In strongly feel that he will be defenitely included in nthe test team.

Selectors are funny creatures. they may want to give younger players some international experience in the event that WS Laxman retires.
Does he actually want to continue?

Leave it with the selectors and have confident in them. No selectors would like to face the press by taking wrong decision. At times we comment things being prejudiced.

i visit strongly blame the gamers in uncomplicated terms for the debacle. i think of that that's extreme time BCCI take some harsh and ambitious judgements to rigidity the gamers to return out of convenience zone and earn their money via performing greater perfect. this could be conceivable via linking their charge to their overall performance. as quickly as the gamers understand that their charge isn't assured and project to overall performance each participant will conflict no longer basic to place up greater perfect overall performance.
