why do many people say "armerica is controlled by the jews"? the population of them is very small.

Small doesn't prevent them from having a lot of power.
Funny that my party, Democratic, claims most of the Jewish vote, but Islam claims that the Jews control the U.S.A. while both groups (Islam, Democratic) is against the war and the present government.
We actually have faced down Israel before. We sent the fleet out of Italy to chase them back to their borders during the Suez Canal crisis. Some puppet of Israel!
But racial/national bigotry doesn't track the disagreements we have with Israel, just the agreements. The rest of the facts aren't that interesting to them.

America ( check you spelling ) ... Most of the technology we have was created by Jews , such as the MRI machines , the CT scans , and even you windows operating system was developed at where ?? Microsoft of Isreal ....most of our modern day medicine is developed in ??/ Israel ...did you really think the tight relationship we have and are determined to keep with Irael was all just based on Religion ......We are not "controlled" by them..but they are the reason America has came as far as we have ....We stand with them , and they help us ..DC does not do anything without something in return .. Nothing from Wasington DC is ever ever Free...

Because some of us believe, rightly, that the "jewish" influence on government is very very strong. Do you even realize how much money is sent to the state of israel every year from your tax dollars? Do I have a say so where my money is sent? No. Should I? Yes.
"Jewish" lobbyists get a whole heapload of things done in this country, and MANY of our senators and representatives are on the "Jewish" payroll and many even have dual-citizenship....they are bought and paid for. And to suggest this makes me a anti-semite. In fact criticizing the policies of the Israeli government at all makes me an anti-semite apparently.
It's all the same b.s. "our people were slaughtered, therefore we are above criticism, and you should be forced to protect us and send us billions of your tax dollars".
Most of the turmoil in the mideast is directly and indirectly the result of the Israeli governments influence over the United States. We are basically attacking people for Israel....doubt it? Read into it a little further and I'm sure you'll see otherwise.

That is just a myth that ppl need to believe because it is human nature to always try to find some group to blame.
There are a lot of Jewish ppl in the media and the USA is an ally of Israel... it is that simple.

The Secretary of Homeland Security holds both US and Israelii citizenship. They couldn't find a WASP for the job? They do have too much influence in this country and our blind support of Israel has caused our problems in the East.

It's a myth created by the same type of people who blamed the Jews for the Great Depression in Germany; Anti-Semitic people who refuse to blame the folly of their own plight upon themselves.
It's much easier to accuse another group for their problems, than to admit their own shortcomings.
If America is controlled by the Jews, than why hasn't Joe Lieberman been elected president? Why have we had a redneck like GW in office the last 7 years?

the "loudest" people say this...
There are many Jewish filmmakers... other than that, the whole conspiracy theory is just hogwash.
So maybe there is some preferential treatment when it comes time for the Oscars... who cares?
There are also many Gay actors but you don't hear much about gay people being in control of everything....

The reason they control USA is that the Jewish lobby actually has the biggest influence in US administration.....I've once watched a documentary called "camps of Jesus" dunno if u did watch it ..for gods sake this so called P.Bush is actually preparing "army of Jesus" from little kids ..brainwashing them towards a big war so that Jesus could control the world again and these nonsense ...even more the ppl in those camps were praying for Jesus and actually carrying the flag of "Israel" ....(note: these camps are in US) dunno think abt it in ur logic
