They should have laws that protect innocent wives from having their husbands patronize these places and bring back tons of diseases! It should be mandatory that every married man gets his picture in the paper, and a complimentary phone call from the madam of the establishment to his wife informing her of her husband's activities! This way, she can get more money in court when she sues him for a divorce based on adultery! This way, she would have a chance to protect herself from unwanted diseases! Shame on men who treat their wives in this wretched way! They are not men at all.....just snakes! Is it any wonder why our children are going to hell in a hand basket? Kids are taught morality by their parents! They look at what their fathers are doing! How would you guys like it if you found YOUR daughter prostituting at your local brothel? Unless men in society really care to set the example for the children, our kids will be lost! Ponder that.....":MEN"!

I hope there are still some REAL heroes left in society.....our family men! Let's make decency the standard again so our children and families will have a chance! When the family fails...........society loses! Any nation is only as strong as the families that occupy it!
Just because they "legalize" prostitution does not make it victimless and it does not make it moral or right! Think of the teens that runaway and find themselves locked into this awful life style? Think of how this enables the drug addict to purchase drugs instead of cleaning up her life and being all she was created to be? Think of the innocent wife who gets a disease from her cheating hubby? Think of the child who has to grow up without a father after his wife divorces him due to prostitution? Think of the women who are beaten and abused and sometimes killed by vile men who make a profit on women's bodies? This crime has its victims! Prostitution should NEVER be legal!

No, I think all johns should be arrested and given a mandatory jail sentence of 10 years! The lady that said prostitution is not a victimles crime was right! If they were to make it legal, they would get bored with prostitutes and turn their attention to younger and younger victims. This sort does not know where to draw the line . They are immoral and depraved. No use in tolerating this kind in our society! You go ambrewaves!

Prostitution should be legal.

If it was legal, the government could regulate it, like preventing prostitutes with AIDS or communicable diseases from working; make mandatory testing for these things at least once a month; it would cut down on the violence associated with prostitution and prevent the spread of disease.

Besides, it would keep Senator Craig from bugging people in the Mens Rooms.

Yes it should be legal. Simple.

Why? Because our bodies are not the property of the state. If I want to sell my body for sex then I should have every right to do so.

Why would they care? Simple.

There's no money in it for the government.

Now here's a question, what if I pick up a prostitute, and instead of exchanging sex acts for money on the spot, I take her out for a steak dinner and later on afterwards she gives me sex for that and sleeps over. Is that prostitution? If not why? And could they legally arrest me for that? Hardly.

Prostitution and drug use are both issues that are ridiculous insomuch as keeping them illegal is concerned. What people do with their own bodies, so long as they arent knowingly harming someone else, should not be within the realm of the government to decide for you.

Besides, just as many people do it and its already illegal...if it were legal, the same number of people would do it, making it legal would not entice people who normally wouldnt do it anyway.

I think its dumb to get a hooker, but does that mean I think it should be illegal? No.

Yes Govt. is violating several constitutional rights by not being legal .(1.) The founding fathers wrote .For a criminal offense to be committed a persons life or property has to be taken or damaged . If there is no victim there can be no crime .( 2) It violates a persons constitutional right to unlimited contract (3) By not being legal it means govt owns and controls what we can do with our bodies and not us .This is clearly slavery (4) It violates a persons right to freedom of choice (slave )> a person held in servitude as the chattel of anotherr

Yes, because there are some ugly or weird people and they need sex too. The public is sick of pimps and disease and hookers that charge too much. Let's regulate this so an ugly guy doesn't get stuck with a guy in a dress by accident. And let's make it legal so underage girls are out of the market.

It is in China, I would know I live there now. They deny it but only to save face. And in San Fran, where I lived last summer, it was rampant in the Tenderloin area. I think we should refer to it as sex work and make it a major at universities and colleges!

I think it should be legal because the government can't tell people what they can do with their own body.
