It takes awhile. They can't do anything to make you mistrust them again. Then as time goes on, you'll see if its for real. You can forgive but it is hard to forget. Plus you need to decide just how important that person is to you and if they're worth waiting for.

I can honestly say I have never betrayed anyones trust
If someone betrays mine, time is the only way for me to maybe get some trust back for them. And I'm not talking days. Could be months or longer.

I hope that I have never betrayed someone's trust. But if I did I'd guess the first step is to sincerely apologize and try to make it right.

You don't. Presume that once it is done it can happen again. Treat them as a traitor and a coward. You'll feel much better and safer later. But most people are far more trusting than I too.

Tico believes a lot of fatties are mad at him because his name is earliy similair to rico, Tico can change that stereotype image by proving he shows respect for all members of yahoo.
