1. I went into yahoo answers in Spanish the first time just by curiousity and I decided to go the travel section and found out that there was Egypt and I like it very much. Later I found that there was yahoo answers also in English and I found that there I could find more things about Egypt because there are more Egyptians.

2. Yes I am interested in Egyptian culture since I was 7 years old and also interested in everything related to Egypt because habibi is Egyptian. And if some day we get married (isa) it would be great for me to know as much as possible about Egypt.

3. No one lead me to this section, but I do have a lot of friends here (names.... they know who they are, but I prefer not to tell names here)

4. Yes I like the company as I have met here good friends.

Thank you for your welcome.

1- Travel is a great passion of mine and I became a member of Y!A only when I saw they have travel section. I checked it immediately and then a few specific categories, one of them being Egypt. I visited Egypt two years ago and I like it a lot. Also, a great friend of mine is Egyptian (though I actually met him in the city I live in, as he comes here for business from time to time ). So, naturally I've been coming here from the start of my membership at Y!A.

2- I am interested in different cultures, Egyptian being one of those I have a particular interest in, for the reasons mentioned above.

3- As I said, I came on my own, but then I made some friends here.

4- Sure I wish to stay! This is still one of my favorite categories :)

Well i had been to Egypt on holiday with my friend and i met my boyfriend there who is Egyptian and i was going back to see him and i wanted to ask a question about returning to Egypt to see him so i looked in the middle east and Africa section and found Egypt.

And i love this section everyone is so friendly and it is more of a community than a section where people ask and answer. I spend most of my time in this section i don't ask alot of questions but i answer alot specially about Sharm as i have been there so many times visiting my boyfriend.

I have many contacts from the Egyptian section they include Farah, Noha, hasafer, last pharaoh (sorry if i forgot anyone)

And i stayed here because i love it here it has to be the best section with the best people with the best topics to talk about which is Egypt.

mainly #2. I am interested in your culture and looking for some answers. My egyptian love sometimes puzzles me so that's how I first ended up here b.c. he drove me crazy!!

So far this answers section has helped me in understanding a little bit of why things are the way they are.

I also like to see other sections of answers in the muslim world to get a feel for how different opinions are. I drop by the Lebanese section as well and try to compare the varying cultures. Why? I don't know why I do that other than that I'd like to visit lebanon one day and have been to egypt a few times already (+ it seems that I'm a professional online time waster. One day I'll get a job. Just a late bloomer =)

Being from the southern part of Africa i was interested to learn more about the culture and people of Egypt in general. I have always been interested in Egyptology and i have friends in Egypt although they don't do yahoo questions. When going through travel in this site i went into the Egypt one and never looked back.

First of all i have to thank once again the egyptian section, and all the wonderful persons here.
I havent seen more friendly section(ok, this is also the characteristic of the egyptians)and it is a section where there are not haters(at least as in ours), trolls etc...
I discovered it by the starred questions of some of my contacts, and soon i made great friends here.
I want also to say that i feel more comfortable here than in the section i used to participate, people are innocent, they have sense of humour, and they wellcome so well everyone who has the best intentions..
I wish to all of you a happy Eid(since it is coming soon)and for this evening a nice iftar...
All my friendly greetings from a country you all love so much...Greece...
As you can see....the haters even here they run after me
