Would it mean that for every law that is proposed people would have to vote and if it gets 51% percent of the votes it's enacted? I kinda like the idea though. I think that would be a true democracy!

Yes, that would be a true democracy and just like every true democracy in history that was not homogeneous, it would result in constant civil wars. It tends to disenfranchise minorities (racial, idealogical, by sex, by lifestyle, etc)completely.

It would be a mess, and there cannot be a true democracy. In a true democracy, everyone could do anything that he/she chose to do, or not do.

There are too many dumb and uniformed people to have a direct democracy.
