No, LSU didn't prove themselves tonight. They proved themselves on September 8. Tonight they did what every number 1 team is supposed to do. They got the job done. Anyone who doesn't give LSU any credit is not a credible "expert" on college football.

I have ot heard a cmmentator cut down LSU. Thing is you have so many more people out west and up north and that's why they do all they can to support their teams. Tonight was an incredible game.

Auburn plays them tough (7-3 loss last year), but the home team has been the winnner as of late and they will be waiting for them in Batn Rouge. Then you have Alabama and they play there this year. Bama did lose last year 28-14, but piled up 370 yards during the game and that was the most anyone did against there defense. In the 7-3 loss to Auburn lat year they only rushed for 1.9 yards per carry.and had a 100 more yards offense. the o line this year will get the job done.

at this point it will be LSU and Ohio State in the champ game. Being ranked #1 and USC losing will boost their bandwagon.

nothing the Yankess can do. South rises agian.

they are number 1 and even that isnt enough for some people. being in the number 1 spot only gets you a target on your back for even if you won it was too close or the QB isnt playing good enough or the coach needs to do this. it's not something that will change or go away.

its easy for some to just not want to give credit when its due honestly.

because there people/fans/ simply hate lsu for some reasons and that is a complete bias...

i, as a true fan of usc, give credit to lsu because of last night incredible performance against florida and i dont hate lsu. they are good and i give them credit for all of their hard effort.

if people cant see that, then that their problem.

I have a hard time wanting LSU to win because of their fans. Nothing to do with the team, just sick of their bragging, screaming, foul mouth, proud to be drunk and from Louisiana fans.

hmmm.. you were number one before tonight, so where are you not getting your credit???? On Yahoo answers? stick with the polls, not Yahoo Answers.

because even though they win, they win ugly. they play just well enough to beat whatever team they are playing. one of these times they're going to leave it too late, and lose.
