Well yes it SHOULD. I understand it was close. I understand that LSU didn't win until the end. I understand that LSU was ranked #1 by the AP. Now get past all that and understand that they STILL have lost two games. There are one loss teams that should be ahead of them.

I expect Florida will rightfully drop a couple of spots. There weren't as many top 10 losses this week as there were last week but there were a few surprises: USC, Wisc, Kent. Counting Florida, that's 4 top 10 losses. Without the other 4 losses, Florida would probably have dropped more.

They should not drop. The only way that college football can prevent teams from taking advantage of the ability to arrange powder puff schedules is to respect a challenging schedule. In my book, losing to Auburn and Florida is way way less of an embarrassment than losing just once to a team like Stanford or Colorado. Also, Ohio State has not really played much of anyone and should not be ranked higher than Cal, and should not get a chance to play in the national championship unless they totally dominate their remaining opponents. Honestly, who really thinks Ohio State could beat Cal. On paper they beat them last year right? But come on, Ohio State is pretty much a I-AA team.

I don't know.
Maybe but they put up quite a fight today, and being that they went into the game as a 9 point underdog and only lost by 4 points to the number 1 team, I think they will get continue to get the votes.
I don't think they will be in the top 10 Monday, but they will be in the top 15.
The big question is will USC be a top 10 team when they lost to an unranked team?

No. They deserve to be in the top 5 really! They are a great team, but LSU is just a little bit better this year. Look at the score!

Probably not...
They are still very tough and could have put LSU away.
With everyone else losing also,, Florida will still probably be out of the top 10, but not far out of it.
I still rank them 6th, but that is just me... and I am not a Gator fan.

If you saw the game, you know there is no justification for dropping Florida. In fact, they should move up to number 7 behind LSU, OSU, Cal, S. Florida, BC, and Missouri.

Yes, my guess is they'll fall to somewhere between 13-16.

That's what caused the BCS. I hope it does and give Bert a black eye too.
