i am currently a high school senior

my UC weighted GPA is 3,5
my High school GPA is 3.81 and 54 in my high school 08 class
i took 6 years of math including calculus Bc and Statistics
i took AP physics and AP econ
SATI score is around 1700-1760
SATII score is
World history 680
(will take math lvl2 and physics in november)

extra curricular activities are
Dragonboat 2 years with 2 medals
cross country team for 1 year and 1 certificate award
Kiwanis club for 3 years
volunteer club for ~100 hours and 3 years
CSF memeber for 3 years
i have 1 year job as museum ambassador in 9th grade


i am also a first generation college student, immigrant, and local resident of california. My family is in the low income level.

I know of people with similar records who have gotten into Cal Poly lately, so that is a definite possibility. You could try for UCSD, but it is extremely competitive, and I would guess that your SAT and GPA aren't quite strong enough to get in there.

Your GPAs are pretty good. But i think you should work harder on your SAT scores. Hopefully you can raise by december.
You have enough extracurricular activities.
You have a chance for UCSD and a relaly good chance for Cal Poly.

My brother in basic terms have been given into Cal-Poly & he had with regard to the comparable scores & gpa as u..perchance even a tiny bit decrease. i think of you have an exceptionally solid threat of stepping into the two one in all them.

Well as long as they don't prohibit people who stroke themselves (and i can't see any place in California doing THAT!) then you shouldn't have a prob.
