If Murali Karthik had got the same support as some other bowlers,he would have been a regular in Indian team.It is a pity that an Indian has to prove his credentials in an alien country(English county in respect of Karthik)

I think India is just looking for some variety in their bowling, Although Powar is a good bowler, he is not really dominating. He is an off spinner, which we already have, and bringin in Murali Kartik who is a left hand spinner will just give us more variety. Being the die hard Indian fan i am, i dont think India stands a chance anymore.

They should have selected a youngster instead of Murali Karthik as the focus of Indian team should be for future.

Hi there ,
"You said it"....
Forget about the combination ....now the situation has come back to square 1 ..
unless the cricket team understand the importance of the words "unity", "national pride", etc etc...the scenario will continue like this only...let it be Ramesh or Murali...let it be Dravid or Dhoni.....let it be Saurav or Tendulkar....!
Yeah..let us enjoy the sixes.........but from the aussies.....
best wishes !

there is no doubt that powar is a good bowler but nowadays he is not in the form or he is affraid of aussies coz he is delivering so many full tosses in a match and full tosses by a spinner means total damage i.e giving about 40 extra runs in a match so i think its a good decision of

i think bcci has chosen kartik as he has done well in the county cricket but he had not played since feb 2006 so he will feel the heat to play against world champs
