Rahul Dravid should definitely deserve a place in ODI.
Don't judge him just on 2 or 3 games. He is a class batsman, and people start talking about his sacking just because India won the T20 cup.
Remember ODI is a different game altogether, and you need experience. And mind you, India is playing against Australia - the best team in ODIs. It is very tough to be on top against them. So don't just compare him to any young people. Against Australia, nobody is performing as expected - even the captain Dhoni.
Just that India won the T20 world cup does not mean that the young players can win all the games.
ODIs & Tests are not child's play. It is serious business. Whereas T20 is all about hard hitting and luck.

He made things difficult for him by stepping down at the wrong time. But he is a very useful player to have in any team.
India must have a clear strategy in respect of batting order with necessary adjustments for batting first and chasing and we must stick with it,without shuffling now and then.

Though he was bit unlucky to be out for 0 at Hyderabad, he played reasonablhy well at kochi. A man of his calibre who can play defensive as well as attacklng strokes is absolutely needed in the middle overs.
