There hasn't been transportation in Australia since the last convicts arrived in Western Australia in the 1868. The word "transportation" still reminds us of our early history. The word you want is "transport".There are organised tours to the 12 apostles and along the Great Ocean Road but it is a comfortable day out to drive there and back with plenty of time for sightseeing etc.
