With my first son I let my now exhusband pick the first name. He wasn't given the chance to name his first son with someone else so I wanted him to have that chance so he gave our first son the first name Cyrus which was his nickname (Cyrus Foxx) then I picked the middle name. It was a name that was stuck in my head since I was 3 years old (Dominick) and then we both loved the name Orion so we threw that in there so his intials ended up being C.D.O.G.. With our second son my ex and I were no longer living together and he wasn't around for the pregnancy so I picked the name. Christopher because he was born close to Christmas (dec 29th) and because I always wanted a son named Christopher Dominick so I got the names just in two sons instead of one. Then my mom really wanted to have her little "Mark Allan" as that was suppose to be my name is I was a boy so she named my second son that. So his name is Christopher Mark Allan and his intials are CMAG.

I think your girl name is too long and repetitive personally, and boys name too long also. I think Cassidy is nice for a first name but the three together is just too much. Andrew is nice for a boy, don't know about the other names though. maybe one as a middle name??
We picked our kids names according to taste. I scoured baby name books then made a (long) short list and then as I said each name and saw them on the fridge everyday I started to dislike some so they got crossed off. Finally there were just two left that we both agreed on and only made the final decision when we got to the hospital as we found out 2 of my midwives and my doctor all had daughters named Caitlyn so we went with our other choice, Eliza. Her middle name Jasmine was spontaneous. We couldn't pick one so i opened the name book saw that one first, liked it and used it!
It was much easier with our son. He was always going to have the middle name Matthew as that is hubby's middle name and we came accross the name Isaac about half way through the pregnancy and it stuck so thats what we called him.
Once you find the perfect name, nothing else seems to compare and you sort of stop looking subconsciously i think.
You'll know when you find it, it'll bring a smile to your face and you can start to picture your baby in your arms with that name.
best of luck.

Well, I had my own picks for favs - and hubby didn't like them so I made a list using Ancestors.com - using names that I really liked that were parts of or similar to relatives past and present and then - my husband only ended up liking one of those. He was pickier with the first and then naming the 2nd and 3rd - he was more flexible and liked my first pick. I like to give them an original first name - that is not the same as a living relative and then take the middle name from a living grandparent, Aunt or Uncle. Well, my third son - someone on Yahoo Answers suggested a middle name for the first name I liked which was not a relative - but hubby liked it to and the meanings were awesome so we went with it.

I don't have any kids, but I have names in mind ready for when I do get married and have kids. Of course, my husband will have to have a say. The names I have in mind for a girl are:
Alexis, Sarah, Isabel, and Katelyn
I've always liked the name Sarah, and the other three I chose because I think they sound nice, and I liked the meaning. Alexis is partly because I really like the actress Alexis Bledel.
The boys names are:
Lucas, Timothy, and Darcy.
All of those are because I like the names and meanings. Lucas is partly after the character Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill, and Darcy is for Mr Darcy from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
I only have one middle name in mind for a girl, which is May. It's my Grandma's name, my Mum's middle name, and one of my middle names. I also have one in mind for a boy, which is Robert, my Dad's name.

My mother was killed in a traffic accident when I was 6 yrs old so I always said I would name my first girl after her. Her name was Dianna Marie, the Anna part was from my grandma's sister and grandma just put Di on it so that's why it's spelled like that. When I was about 7 months pregnant with my daughter my grandma tells me "you know Lisa is a real pretty name" and I knew that was her way of telling me that she had lost her Dianna and couldn't handle having another so I said how about Lisa Dianna and my grandma said I like it. That's how she got her name. She got married last month and when she has a daughter she plans to carry on the name Dianna and tell her daughter why she gave her that name. I think she also plans to use it as a middle name. She's not pregnant yet and they plan to wait a couple years.
My son we named after my husband. We thought about naming him after his grandfathers but we didn't have much to work with so decided to name him Timothy Jason and we call him Jason to keep confusion down. My father in law's name is Robert Richard and my dad's name is Delmar Eugene. That's why I said we gave up and named him after his dad.

My husband and I went through a baby book and compiled two lists of names we liked. If the same name appeared in both lists, we made up another list with that name and added others that also appeared on both lists. Then we narrowed down the choices until we came upon a name we agreed on. That became the child's name.

I REALLY LOVE KEEPING NAMES IN THE FAMILY OR NAMING BABY AFTER PEOPLE THAT ARE CLOSE TO YOU!!!
How we named my son!
My husband wanted a bible name that started with 'C' the only 'C' name that we could agree on was Caleb his middle names are John after my father and Conrad after my husband and his father and grandfather so we had to keep that going as Conrad has been in the family for 4 generations now.
Love the names you have picked out

It was the first name that popped into my head when I found out that I was pregnant, but when you see that little face..the perfect name will fit. You might have a girl that you want to name Kim, but when you see her for the first time, you may change your mind and name her HOPE.
