I am currently looking for a persoanl loan in the amount of 3,000 - 4,000, and I will pay high interest rates if necessary! But the catch is that I am currently inbetween jobs and my credit is not too bad, but my husband (the bread winner) has absolutely retched credit! I have tried, prosper.com and EVERY loan place out there!!!! But no such luck! I have even followed up on some of the answers or suggestions to questions asked about bad credit on here! Yet, once again NO such luckTime is running out and everything is hanging in the ballance of getting this money to pay off WAY over due bills! We have a very stable living history, good job refrences and much more...we have just sunk into a hole and it seems almost impossible to get out! I need a real source or I HOPE TO GOD a legit. private lender that will extend a loan to us! Please help!!!

You can try a credit union if you haven't already. Otherwise, you need to get on the phone with your creditors and see what you can negotiate. They might agree to stop the interest building up for a few months, or you may be able to get partial payments. If you have equity in your home, you should be able to tap that, but it sounds like you don't. Otherwise, frankly, I think you should sell on eBay whatever you can, your dishes and glassware, any wedding presents, anything you have that's worth a dime. Also, take ANY job at all, no matter what, and have your husband work a second job. Further, I'd drag your husband into a credit counseling agency, because he needs to understand what bad credit has done to you both and how to prevent it in the future. I'm sorry for you, but there's no magic answer: it's all going to hurt.
