A sensible answer is that it because they are a very young nation, compared to most. The only true culture they have is that of the native Indians.
However, what do you expect when the USA is full of idiots who elect other brainwashing idiots to run their country and everybody else's, including ours.
Trouble is, their rotten culture is infiltrating this country like the hair of Medusa, so we, the Brits, should start electing people in our country who will do something about it, and quickly.

Because the American culture has been under attack for decades. For the last forty years, we have seen a constant coarsening of the culture. Any public recognition of religious has been attacked by the courts, and ridiculed by mainstream media.

Finally, our common culture has been undermined by "multiculturalism", which attacks traditional values shared by most Americans.

Who has been attacking our common culture? Those people and groups who don't like it. In the forefront is the American Civil Liberties Union, which is neither American, nor for civil liberties. When is the last time you heard the ACLU defend the Second Amendment? Rather, the ACLU defends criminals, Communists and atheists. Incidentally, I agree with the ACLU on the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act is something out of Nazi Germany.

Its not necessarily. First I would have to ask in comparison to which others? Second, I would, after traveling over seas (specifically to the East) say that we do very nicely and other countries have just as many problems. I think one of our issues is that we have more money and more press so it makes us seem inferior. They have just as many issues culturally at times, just different ones and less press.

Cause the dollar rules supreme and that fact impacts quality decisions. US culture is being defined as Wal-Mart, McDonalds, NASCAR and Donald Trump, Oprah and Britanny Spears. If it makes a buck it becomes part of the culture.

The government. The laws and restrictions they impose dictate the course of society. As a result it shapes the culture around it and the behaviors of the people it controls. Our gvt. here is much too restrictive and socially oppressive and makes living in it much harder and pre- destined to fail for the majority of citizens who are not born of privilege to begin with.

I don't consider any culture inferior to another. Being different from another culture doesn't make it any better or any worse than that other culture.

What makes you think it is? - you can't judge by TV you know, They have some of the best museums in the world, Orchestras to rival European ones, some of the best comedy programmes, and much of their dramas that come our way are excellent, the people cannot be judged, unless one has lived amongst them.
