To do the story, you don't but to perform the music you do because it was written recently and is still protected by copyright law. The story of Moses is not protected as it is a bible story. You could write to Dreamworks
DreamWorks Animation SKG
1000 Flower Street
Glendale, CA 91201
and tell them what you intend to do and ask permission. You may want to lok up the other production office addresses for Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen and send additional letters to see if you have a better chance of getting a response.

If you plan to charge admission you may need to include that information as well as what you plan to do with the money as well as how many performances (and the dates) you plan to hold. Royalties often need to be paid to people who own the songs but they may be willing to waive that depending on your purpose.

good luck!

The story is based upon Moses in the books of Genesis and Exodus. Base your story of that original text and you are fine.
