& what is half native American?

native americans are indians, not people from india, but the people who dwelled in the americas before it was "discovered" by christopher columbus. if you are half native american then one of your parents was a full blooded indian meaning their parents were also full blooded indians, and the other parent was not and maybe english or irish or asian or whatever.

Native Americans are the indigenous people who where here before the white people came to America. A person who is 1/2 Native American have one parent who is native and one who is not.

Native Americans are the indigenous people of the Americas (North, Central, & South). Being of both of Native American and European descent is often reffered to as mestizo.

Hiya! I am half Oglala Lakota Sioux and half French. I know that my mom was French and my dad Native American. So their "full ethnicity" became my half. ^_^ lol I hope that made sense! Have a nice day! :P

the people who are not meztiso.. they are pure.. they didnt mix with another race.... most of them survived when europeans dominated the continent.. the native Americans still living in many countries of the Americas. specially in Latin America.. many communities of Indeginous.. as well we have in North America.. most of them are fighting againts the discrimination..

Uh, the people who were here first and long before other people. And like any other backgrounds, half would designate a person who is "biracial".

What a question.
Native Americans are people who are born here.
Native American Indian's are those from whom this country was stolen.
I guess you have to cut one in half because you can't be half born in America that's impossible.
You are either born here or you are born someplace else.
If your mother is American and your father Italian and you are born on US soil you are a Native American because you were born here and this is your country.
